this poem holds very still
with its understanding

it is NOT confrontational
instead, it meets people
where they are
without imposing any sense
of what might otherwise be

it accepts people
how they ARE
and recognizes all
human beings
(and their circumstances)
as utterly divine

no matter
how fucked up
they are
