Patience Encircles

patience in circles
this that mother earth is

small with patience
a child cell ventures
out from the womb
into the wild
trusting the mother within
personality carrying water
greeting the thirst
of love’s pioneers
rolling across India
for the goddess

the sun shining ever brighter
for what it shines upon

we are bridge-builders all
every thought mirroring itself
(returning home)
if we are patience enough
