(three burly painters emerge from
the smallest pick-up truck ever built)
(the truck sighs with relief
and rises to its resting state)

Would-Be Poet:
“You’ve been painting—
more than just your clothes I hope”
Would-Be Painting:
“Yeah, we got a little on the house”
